Prashant Janjal, a seasoned public health researcher, brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, research acumen, and policy experience to the field of healthcare. With a Master of Public Health in Health Policy, Economics, and Finance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Prashant has established himself as a key contributor to public health advancements in India.

Recently serving as a Senior Medical Writer at OrciMed Life Sciences, Hyderabad, Prashant authored several manuscripts, developed economic evaluation proposals, and crafted strategic business insights in the domain of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). In his role as Public Health Specialist at Apollo Telehealth, he contributes to digital health initiatives by drafting impact reports, conceptualizing research papers, and engaging with stakeholders to drive innovation in healthcare delivery.

Prashant’s extensive experience includes program management at the Catholic Health Association of India, where he oversaw donor-funded projects and implemented health initiatives, as well as consulting roles with the National Health Mission in Andhra Pradesh and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India. His work has spanned diverse areas such as cancer, emergency medicine, HIV-AIDS, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and universal health coverage (UHC), showcasing his versatility in addressing public health challenges.

An adept researcher, Prashant excels in literature reviews, quantitative and qualitative research, health services research, and economic evaluations, including cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analyses. He has presented his findings at prestigious conferences, such as Telemedicon 2022 and THIT 2023, highlighting the role of telemedicine in improving patient-reported outcomes and addressing COVID vaccination adverse effects.

Prashant is also a committed learner, having completed international fellowships, short courses in scientific writing and data analysis, and training in operational planning for COVID-19 preparedness. His technical proficiency includes tools like SPSS, Tableau, NVivo, and Python, combined with fluency in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Telugu.
